We are committed to being active members of the Jacksonville community. This means that while our main goal is still farming, we would like the farm to be a green space for the community and a place for learning.
Currently, we are entering in our fifth year of partnering with Academie de Montessori Erd Kinder Project in San Marco. The students from the Academie visit the farm bi-weekly to learn about nature and experience farm life. During these visits, the students get to plant seeds, catch bugs, and participate in the daily life of a farmer.
Started as a pilot in 2018, Our Senior CSA has taken off! We provide seniors in subsidized housing with affordable CSAs along with food demonstrations and tastings. These events allow seniors to share their communal wisdom while learning new variations of old veggies and being introduced to new tastes.
We want our customers to have the freshest produce so we do not store our perishable harvest and bring it to market the following week. Instead we donate our excess to the Sulzbacher Center and everyone gets to eat fresh!
We have a wide variety of spaces and activities available. If you are interested in scheduling an event for your business or school on the farm please contact us for availability and pricing!
